WHY ANODIC OXIDATION?
The aluminium anodizing (also known as anodic oxidation) is functional to make the aluminium itself more resistant to atmospheric and environmental agents corrosion, more resistant to the aging, with a nicer aesthetically shape, harder in its surface.
More resistant and beautiful.
THE ANODIZING
The anodizing is a very simple electrochemical process, but very important at the same time by which a protective layer of oxide forms on the aluminium surface and protects it from corrosion with surface transformation.
The electric current supplied by an external electric circuit, goes through an electrolytic cell in which the aluminium dipped in an aqueous solution acts as an anode, the negative ions (anions) formed by the dissociation (especially oxygen) migrate towards the aluminium, and they yield to it the electric charges they carry. The layer on the surface is an aluminium layer oxide formed by electrolytic process.
Through oxidation, it is possible to keep the natural colour of aluminium or to colour it through specific treatments that improve the aesthetic of the metal.
The experience gained on an industrial scale allows Oxall to work on all types of aluminium elements, even and above all, on medium and small objects with procedures and controls that guarantee protection and aesthetic finish. This process guarantees to the aluminium surface layers of adherent and compact oxide, with thicknesses of high consistency, qualifying from 5 to 25 microns.
